Ceremonies & Shows Co-ordinator

We’re looking for an exceptional Show Coordination Manager to oversee the big-impact, high-energy moments that define the spirit of Camp Kindling and Camp Wildfire, including Initiations, Parades & Finales.

This year is special:

  • 🎉 5 years of Camp Kindling
  • 🔥 10 years of Camp Wildfire

We're pulling out all the stops and need someone who can juggle suppliers, schedules, and surprises - bringing flair, precision, and a deep understanding of live, immersive production.

Key Information

  • Rates: £180/day pre-production | £210/day onsite
  • Dates:
    • 3 days remote pre-production between 14 June-14 August
    • 9 days onsite between 14 August-1 September
  • Location: A beautiful heritage pine forest near Sevenoaks, Kent
  • Application Deadline: Midnight on 22nd June 2025
  • Food/Accom: Onsite shared bell tent accommodation & catering

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and delivering show elements that are the beating heart of the events.
  • Planning & prep: Work closely with the Creative Director to shape the schedule and running orders for each major show moment.
  • Liaise with firework suppliers, patrol leaders, parade bands + performers, riggers, sound, lighting, special effects, and other special surprise show elements.
  • Produce clear and timely show call sheets, tech specs, and supplier schedules.
  • Onsite show management: Lead on showtime coordination from the ground: initiating parades, cueing fireworks, and solving surprises with grace.
  • Ensure all suppliers are fully briefed, supported, and punctual.
  • Maintain a strong overview across multiple disciplines and locations (e.g. from parade start point to fireworks launch sites).
  • Act as the key point of contact between production management and performance teams during key moments.
  • Team collaboration: work alongside the site production manager, creative director, and ops team to ensure each moment lands with maximum impact.
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers and collaborators, keeping the energy high and the comms crystal clear.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in live event show management, festival production, or outdoor  theatrical coordination.
  • Previous work on parades, immersive shows, or festivals
  • Confidence wrangling a diverse range of performers, creatives, and technical suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in advance and under pressure.
  • A love of wild ideas and detailed planning.
  • Someone unflappable, proactive, and with a bit of sparkle.
  • Radio comms (PTT) made for countdowns.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Fireworks or special effects experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD site plans or technical site maps
  • Driving license.
