Stage Managers
We're looking for experienced stage managers to run the show on some of our festival stages — keeping performances on schedule, coordinating artist changeovers, and being the calm centre of operations from line-check through to the final act.
Key Information
- Rate: £200–£250/day (depending on stage)
- Dates:
Kindling: 19–24 Aug (build, festival 21–23, de-rig)
Wildfire: 26 Aug–7 Sept (build, festival weekend 1, festival weekend 2, de-rig)
Open to applicants available for one or both festivals - Location: A beautiful heritage pine forest near Sevenoaks, Kent
- Application Deadline: Midnight on 5 June 2026
- Food: Onsite catering
Your Responsibilities
- Run the stage day-to-day, keeping the running order on time and managing changeovers between acts
- Coordinate with sound and lighting crews to keep the technical side of the stage running smoothly
- Look after performers from arrival at stage through to set — line-checks, on-stage cues, and a friendly welcome
- Be the central point of communication on radio between stage, production, artist liaison and front-of-house
- Advance any last-minute changes to the running order and keep relevant teams in the loop
- Maintain a safe working environment on and around the stage, in line with our H&S protocols
Your Skills & Experience
- Several seasons stage managing at festivals or live music events
- Strong technical literacy — comfortable speaking the language of sound and lighting crews
- Calm, clear communication under pressure, and the ability to be firm when and where needed
- Confident on radio and juggling multiple plates at once
- Experience working at greenfield festivals
- Happy working long evenings outdoors in a forest setting
- A flexible, can-do attitude — willing to muck in where needed
