Information Cadettes

We're looking for friendly, organised and unflappable humans to join our on-site team as Information Cadettes for Camp Kindling & Camp Wildfire 2025!

You’ll be part of the heart and soul of our on-site support, working from the Info Cabin to help our wonderful campers with everything from lost wristbands and activity queries to campsite directions and last-minute questions.

It’s a fun and fast-paced role that’s perfect for someone who loves helping people, enjoys a bit of problem-solving, and thrives in a festival-style environment.

Key Information

Location: On-site at Camp Kindling & Camp Wildfire, Sevenoaks, Kent
Dates:

  • Camp Kindling: Friday 15th – Monday 18th August
  • Camp Wildfire WK1: Friday 22nd – Monday 25th August
  • Camp Wildfire WK2: Friday 29th August – Monday 1st September

Arrival: Required by Thursday evening before each weekend, or by 10am Friday at the latest
Departure: From 8.30pm on Sunday or anytime Monday
Role Type: Temporary / Event-based
Hours: 6 hours per day (rotating shifts across a 12-hour opening period)
Pay: £20 per hour

Application Deadline: Midnight 26th May 2025

Food/Accom: If staying onsite, you will need to bring your own tent / live in vehicle. 1 meal provided from crew catering per onsite full working day. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance at the Info Cabin
  • Answering questions about activities, schedules, maps, tickets, facilities, and general event info
  • Handling minor issues and escalating anything more complex to the Lead Information Cadettes
  • Logging lost property and helping reunite it with its rightful owner
  • Making time to familiarise yourself with the event site, setup and key event details so you can assist guests confidently
  • Maintaining a calm, positive and proactive presence throughout your shift
  • Keeping the Info Cabin tidy, stocked and ready to go!
  • Helping with providing comms or notices across site 

Who We're Looking For

  • Approachable, friendly and great with people
  • Clear communicator with a calm and confident manner
  • Comfortable using basic technology (Ipads, ticketing & enrolment platforms, training provided in advance)
  • Organised and reliable – able to follow process but think on your feet
  • Happy to work in a shift pattern and be flexible across the weekend
  • Ideally has previous customer service, info point, box office or event experience
  • Loves the outdoors and doesn’t mind the unpredictable nature of festivals

  • The Info Cabin is open 12 hours per day, with shifts split between a small team
  • You’ll always have your evenings free to enjoy the magic of Camp
  • When you're off-shift, you're welcome to take part in our walk-up activities, and book into any credited activities with available spaces
