Event Operations Coordinator

  • Rates: £240/day onsite
  • Dates: Approx. 21 days onsite between 11th August – 3rd September 2025
  • Location: A beautiful heritage pine forest near Sevenoaks, Kent
  • Application Deadline: Midnight on 22nd June 2025
  • Food/Accom: Onsite accommodation & catering

Your Responsibilities

Before and during live event days:

  • Coordinate build of core infrastructure across the event site, ensuring all elements are installed as per the site plan and schedule

  • Act as a primary point of contact for specific contractors (e.g. structures), providing clear information, ensuring timelines and specs are met

  • Support the Production Manager and Operations Manager during build, live, and break phases, helping keep site operations running smoothly

  • Deliver clear, confident briefings to crew and assigned suppliers, ensuring everyone understands their roles, schedules and safety protocols

  • Maintain accurate logs of issues, updates and key actions across production and operations, supporting real-time problem-solving and smooth handovers between shifts

  • Assist in keeping production documents up to date, including production schedules, sign-off checklists and supplier contact logs

  • Respond proactively to onsite challenges, escalating where appropriate and always aiming to solve problems calmly and effectively

Your Skills & Experience

  • Experience working on outdoor events or festivals in an operations role

  • Good understanding of event build, live, and break operations

  • Ability to multitask across different departments and timelines

  • Previous experience supervising team members
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Calm, proactive and collaborative

  • Ability to read site maps
  • Driving Licence

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • AutoCAD

  • Comfortable using spreadsheets or event management tools

  • First Aid Certificate

  • Health & Safety Qualification (e.g. IOSH)
