Location: A beautiful heritage pine forest near Sevenoaks, Kent
Food/Accom: Onsite accommodation & catering

Your Responsibilities
- Set up the Event Control room.
- Incident Management: Responding calmly and efficiently to incidents, facilitating cooperation between key event staff, contractors, local council, police and emergency services. as needed.
- Communication: Maintaining clear and accurate communication with security teams, event organisers, H&S, medical and other stakeholders to oversee the smooth running of the events.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed and accurate logs of all activities, communications, and incidents across the event site (including time, location, and actions taken).
- Handing over to the Night Event Control Manager, to cover duties outside of your working hours.
- Following Procedures: Ensuring all established protocols & procedures are followed, including those related to safety, security, and emergency response.
- Coordination: Working collaboratively with the production team, security & medical to ensure a coordinated and efficient operation.
- On hand to provide support to any site visits from the Safety Advisory Group.
- Handling incoming calls from local residents.
- Running structured debriefs.
Your Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience of Event Control Management at outdoor events.
- Radio proficiency: Familiarity with comms hierarchies, PTT discipline, logging systems.
- Crisis management and calm under pressure.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of Purple Guide.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly analyse situations and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
- Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently, especially during emergencies.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of event management software, logging and communication systems.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Health & Safety Qualification (such as IOSH / NEBOSH)
- Driving Licence
