Went for the first time this year and absolutely loved it, and I already booked for next year great family fun weekend.
This was our first time at Camp Kindling, and we had a fantastic experience filled with fun and laughter. The camp brings immense enjoyment to children and allows us parents to revisit and regress back to our childhood. The variety of new activities we experience and achieve as a family will be unforgettable. We're already looking forward to next year and Camp Kindling's 5-year anniversary. We'll be back as part of the Squirrels crew, aiming to win the camp trophy. Go, Squirrels!

The most magical wonderful pace on earth! Took my 10 year old and the two of us had the time of our lives, can’t recommend Camp Kindling enough! I only have one complaint.. we have to wait a whole year to go again! Bring on 2025 x

Honestly we had the best time ever, it was our first time and surprisingly won’t be the last time, I would highly recommend camp kindling even if you go once it’s something you have to experience, I can’t explain how good it was. Jules and Lee, I would like to say thank you so much for creating such wonderful experiences.

We had an absolute blast at camp kindling! Making unforgettable memories, going down water slides, on zip lines, rock climbing, nerf gun wars and amazing live acts, team games and so much more! You name it, they had itWe cannot wait to come again! If you’re wanting to come here, I highly recommend it, but be quick as it’s very popular!

Camp Kindling is the most incredible experience. I've gone with my son the past two years and we always have the best time! The activities are fantastic, the entertainment is perfectly aimed at both kids and grownups, and the experience the Wildkind team have created is immensely rewarding and enriching. We love it!
Had an amazing experience in camp kindling. The kids had such fun that they were so sad to leave. As a parent (grown up) i can say that it was so inclusive for all ages. There was so much to do for kids and adults alike. Special mention to the flag making stall and cyanotype for giving the kids a memorable experience. Thank you camp kindling. I have already booked for next year thats how good it was.
Absolutely brilliant, really does sell the dream and follows through with, so many amazing things to do and try as a family. My 11 & 12 year old nephew love it ❤️

Honestly, the BEST weekend. The atmosphere was incredible. We really got into the patrol games and competitions (which is something other family festivals don't have) and loved all of our activities. Go foxes!!

Fantastic Family Fun!As first-time attendees, we had an amazing experience that truly awakened my inner child while creating lasting memories with my young one. The friendly atmosphere, well-organised setup, and engaging activities all contributed to a wonderful experience. Thankfully, the weather brightened and warmed up for two out of the three days we attended, enhancing our time there.Overall, it was great value for money, and we both left with unforgettable memories. We’re definitely planning to return in 2025 if all goes well. Highly recommended!
We have just got home after a weekend with 2 kids at Camp Kindling and we had the BEST time. We have never been to a family festival before and in fact we have never camped as a family before but the experience not only brilliant but pretty much seamless for us all.Once we figured out how to set up our tent we explored base camp and the most beautiful setting aptly called, ‘The Intrepid Forest’. We used our tokens to book onto a whole heap of activities (nerf battles, zorbing, crafts, raft building, crazy golf ) which were well organised and loads of fun. We all loved the giant water slide which was a drop-in event.The evening entertainment was varied and there was something for everyone - my little one especially enjoyed Nick Cope.This really is a family festival which was totally geared up to cater for ALL the family with a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back next year, I didn’t get to try the outdoor spa and hot tub so I’ve got to return for that alone!Thanks Camp Kindling for a super weekend!
Wow! Such an amazing experience for me and my daughter. Everyone was super friendly and my daughter made lots of friends with other children. There is lots to see and do, for all ages. Would definitely recommend 🙂
We went to Camp Kindling with our two very energetic boys (1 and 4) and had an amazing time! There was so much to do and the setting was beautiful! I was really impressed with all of the food options (they literally had everything) at reasonable prices! The atmosphere was lovely - and definitely felt like a community - very safe as its all families! We will definitely visit again!
2024 review update!We attended again this year and had yet another amazing time. We booked standard tickets and took 2 kids aged 7 & 12.The activities: we did a variety from kickboxing to beading to aerial silks, and the kids enjoyed them all. The capture the flag activity leaders were fantastic as was the beading lady. My kids voted the aerial hoop and silks and the best activities on site. The floral headdress may seem expensive at 25 credits but the quality of the materials provided was superior and the outcome was stunning.You also have activity patrol leaders doing games all around the site with kids and set game times within the bleachers area each evening. The patrols are fantastic but need to be evened out a little numbers wise.The drop-in activities were so, so hard to access this year due to the increased numbers so we missed a lot of things we wanted to do, such as air drop and flag making. The bubbles were phenomenal though!The food was cheaper than in previous years with more options and less queues; we could still do with a few more gluten free choices though. The pre-ordered packed lunches did not go to plan; we ended up waiting 2 hours and still no sandwich, but the staff could not apologise more and tried their best to make it right. People did queue for hours for the candy floss art, we didn’t, even though our kids would have liked one, we didn’t think it was worth the lost festival time.The camp fires are a great touch - take your own marshmallows!The music was varied as usual with choirs, DJs and really high quality performers, if not the best known. We missed Levi Roots because the notification that he was performing was on social media which is hard to access with no reception in the middle of a forest!The enrolment was slightly problematic with delays when it went live BUT we did manage to book most of what we wanted and spend our credits on some really, really good activities. I would say that because the unlimited tickets and influencers get to book earlier than everyone else, you have no chance of doing things like bee keeping, quad bikes, bread baking and trapeze.Influencers! There are so many on invite, which we’re all paying for. They were filming everywhere and then trying to deal with their kids melt downs once the camera was off - I wouldn’t believe the hype they sell you because they get different tickets to us and you won’t have the same experience as them. Off camera they don’t all seem to be having the best of times…There was a loss of power and water for a short time, but we didn’t experience this because we were in the forest doing activities so it was back on before we knew it.
The most exhilarating, well rounded entertainment for the family. Our third time in three years.
An amazing and unique event in a beautiful setting filled with lots of fun activities for the whole family during the day and music/comedy during the night. Would recommend to any family looking for an adventure!
Brilliant holiday, we had standard tickets which had the perfect balance of activities to chill out time, food was amazing. Patrol leaders are fantastic, just as a heads up make sure you bring soap or hand sanitisers for after the loos
Well worth the money, plenty of great activities for all the family. Take your own food though as it’s quite pricey.
We had THE best time. We signed up on a whim and unfortunately due to some technical issues we really were starting to worry about the weekend. We aren’t seasoned campers, our kids are HARD work right now and due to a really intense work load for both my husband and I, leaving us absolutely exhausted, I just wasn’t sure it was the right thing for us in the end. I cried as we finished packing the car and set off I was so anxious.Oh my goodness, I had no idea what lay ahead. We had the most wonderful time. The kids could just be free, no telling them to be quiet or settle down or temper themselves for the convenience of others, it was one big melting pot of excited kids having a blast. We did fantastic activities we may not have otherwise tried and we had real- PROPER, unfiltered, undisturbed quality time to really connect with our kids in a way our busy lives has left little room for. We ate, danced and sung the weekend away with new friends, fantastic memories and we came straight home and rebooked. I highly recommend. Everyone was just the loveliest, friendliest bunch.
A brilliant festival that caters to children and grown ups alike. Amazing choice of activities, entertainment was enjoyable for all ages including the adults (without the kids even noticing). Great food and facilities too. And a spa! 👏🏻
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Camp Kindling (I think our smiles in the photo say it all!).There are so many positive things to say; from the activities, to the entertainment, the staff and even the other campers!The wide range of activities suited everyone in the family, from the kiddies all the way up to their Nanna. We all got to say that we tried something new.The selection of entertainment over the weekend was perfect; we danced, we laughed and we even squeezed a bit of learning in there too. Then not forgetting about the Patrols, what a brilliant idea, it really helped everyone get in the team spirit and the games were so much fun! My brother and my son even participated in the finale and helped the Stealthy Squirrels become the Camp Kindling Champions!One thing that particularly made my weekend was the staff, they were all so lovely and appeared to be thoroughly enjoying themselves as well. Both of my children have additional needs and the staff were always amazing with them!Then finally just the overall feel and ambience around Camp Kindling was so friendly, welcoming and inclusive, it is hard to explain but it felt like we were all part of the same community and everyone was just so happy to be there.So if you are 'umming and ahing' about going next year then I'd like to recommend you just do it, you will not be disappointed!Finally thank you to everyone at Camp Kindling for such an awesome weekend!
We absolutely love Camp Kindling!! As a family of four with 2 children aged 4 and 18 months there was something for everyone to enjoy. I am always amazed by the range of activities, and how much there is to see and do over the course of the weekend. The whole festival just has the most wonderful atmosphere, I feel so safe that my children can just run around and explore. All the festival goers are so friendly, and we always make the best friends whilst we are there.
Didn't know what to expect going for the first time, but my son loved it so much. Will be back next year
It was magical and we were so lucky with the weather. A beautiful location and we loved that the focus was time spent creating memories with our little ones instead of being on our phones. There were plenty of free activities and even with the queues moved pretty swiftly. The credited activities were spot on for the age range & bee keeping was really insightful & fun. Food to buy on-site & evening entertainment are aplenty, from patrol games, dance music to the games room. The music was spot on. It was like reliving my 20s. There was so much on offer that we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it all. Also, the location was spot on, spacious so it didn’t feel overcrowded. We’re planning to upgrade our tent next year and hopefully the little one will be able to stay up for longer! Can’t wait! Thanks Camp Kindling! 🏕

The best weekend ever, for Children and adults alike! It was a very special weekend exploring and creating so many new experiences and memories with my 5 year old boy! He got to do more than we could have ever imagined. Every element made sense, completely stress free and just FUN!Cannot wait for next year.
