The Wildkind Social Club experiences are designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and easy to join when you're coming on your own.
This article explains what kinds of experiences we run, what happens on the day, and what to expect before and after you attend.
What kind of experiences will there be?
We curate a rotating mix of beginner-friendly experiences- creative, social, active and feel good. We choose activities that spark conversation, so you can naturally chat while doing something together (no silent retreats or awkward formats).
Full details are always shown before you book, and new experiences are revealed on the 1st of each month.
How many people will be there?
Experiences typically have 10–20 people.
This is intentional: small enough to meet everyone, but large enough that you’ll naturally find people you click with.
Who hosts the experiences?
Every experience has a Wildkind Host, a real person whose role is to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
Your host will:
- Greet you by name when you arrive
- Introduce you to other members
- Make sure nobody's left standing alone
- Handle any logistics so you can focus on just enjoying yourself
What happens when I arrive?
Here's what to expect:
1. Arrive at the venue - We'll send you the exact address and a map link beforehand
2. Meet your host - They'll be expecting you and will greet you by name
3. Get introduced - Your host will introduce you to a few other members
4. Do the activity - Enjoy! Ask questions, chat, have fun
5. Optional pub after - Many experiences have an informal pub social afterwards for those who want to keep chatting
I'm nervous about going alone
Completely normal and exactly why we exist! A few things that might help:
- Everyone's in the same boat - Every person there is also meeting new people
- Your host has your back - They're specifically there to make introductions and keep things flowing
- You'll know first names beforehand - Check "Who's Going" on the experience page to see who's enrolled
- We send confidence-building emails - The morning of your experience, you'll get an email with tips and reminders
The first few minutes are always the hardest. After that, you'll be doing the activity and chatting, it gets easier fast.
What should I wear/bring?
This depends on the activity. When you book, the experience description will include any specific requirements like:
- Comfortable clothes for movement
- Clothes you don't mind getting messy
- Nothing at all, everything provided
If you're unsure, just dress casually and comfortably. Nobody's judging.
How do I cancel an experience?
If you need to cancel:
1. Go to My Experiences
2. Find your upcoming booking
3. Click Cancel
Cancellation rules:
48+ hours before – Your credit is refunded and can be reused that month
Less than 48 hours before – No credit refund
This is because we’ve already confirmed numbers with venues and turned away other members.
What if I can't make it at the last minute?
If something comes up:
- If possible, still let us know - Message us through the chat or via email on office@wildkind.co.uk
- Credits can't be refunded within 48 hours
- No hard feelings though- we get it, we understand life happens
What if the experience is cancelled?
Occasionally we may need to cancel an experience due to unavoidable circumstances. If this happens:
We’ll email you as soon as possible
Your credit will be automatically refunded
You can use it to book a different experience
Can I bring a friend who isn't a member?
At the moment, experiences are for members only.
If your friend is interested, they’re very welcome to join the waitlist at club.wildkind.co.uk/waitlist
Is there always a social afterwards?
Most experiences have an optional pub social afterwards. It's completely optional, stay if you're having fun, leave if you need to get home. No pressure either way.
If you have questions about booking, credits, or your account, take a look at the other Wildkind Social Club help articles, or message us via live chat or email on office@wildkind.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help.
