❤️ A GINORMOUS Thank You ❤️
As we close out our 10th year we would like to say a huge thank you for all your support in that time.
We want to build things that make a meaningful difference to people and the world. That often requires us taking an unconventional or difficult path.
When faced with a choice of serving investors or a community, we chose the latter, opting to grow the company slowly & organically.
Running the company this way can be really scary at times, but through everything we’ve tried and tested you’ve been there for us.
You’ve supported us through some hard times (COVID, Enrolment meltdowns, Storm Lillian, 80% Toilet Inflation) and celebrated our good times (spreading the word, sending kind messages, hand knitting gifts, organising cheesefest).
Your ideas, feedback, kindness, positivity, community involvement and emotional support, have been invaluable in building Wildkind into what it is today.
We are really proud of how much this bootstrapped company of 9 people managed to achieve this year, and look to the next 10 years with the most incredible feeling of momentum.
Thank you for all of that, it’s an honour to serve you.

📋 Notable Things From 2025 📋
Company & People
We have a new office! 🏢 We moved in May and it's been worth every penny of extra rent in increased professionalism, productivity and team happiness. ❤️
Our NPS scores stayed the same as last year; 74 for Camp Wildfire and 48 for Camp Kindling. Strong scores but our work continues to try to get above 80 (world class) for both 🔥
We made a profit for the second year since COVID. Just under 2% so less than last year, but impressive given how much extra we spent on delivering the Camps to a higher standard. Once again we used it to pay bonuses to the team for their hard work, and pay off loans from COVID. From here we should be in a position to start building reserves to help grow the company in the future. 📈
🎓 We invested a lot of time and resources into upskilling our team with qualifications and training in Health & Safety, Service Design, Workplace Neurodiversity, UX/UI Design and Customer Service 🎓
🎨 We shared some awesome team socials creating artworks, making pottery, going rafting, visiting lapland and a bonkers house of magic, and sang some good old karaoke! 🎤
Nate & Else started a monthly ‘dungarees and croptops’ day in the office 🤷🏾🤷🏻♀️
Digital
We rebuilt our ticketing system from the ground up. With Enrolment that’s 2 of 3 major systems upgrades done for us to be operating on a fully customised, state of the art, tech stack.
We FINALLY launched an e-commerce store and processed 383 orders in the first month 🛒🛒
We answered 22,639 support requests through our webchat and email, 79% were resolved by Scout (our AI bot) and our awesome human team sorted the rest! We increased our average customer satisfaction score from 4.1 to 4.3 out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Closing in on our 4.5 target).
Events
We re-launched Winter Wildfire, our adults only Christmas themed day festival, and sold over half the tickets a year in advance! 🎄
The Summer Camps really levelled up this year! We added cool stuff like aeroplanes ✈️, fireworks 🎆 to celebrate our 10th anniversary, but we also made some big improvements to the facilities. We are most proud of increasing the Good/Excellent rating of toilets 🚽 and showers 🚿 from 61% last year to 82% this year!
We rebuilt the zip-wire from 2015 on a much bigger scale 🚡
Ticket sales for 2026 are off the chart 🚀🚀🚀 Camp Wildfire is 85% and Kindling is 90% sold out already! Booking early helps us make even more improvements to your experience so you can expect things to get even better this year. 🤗🤗
Community
😱 We had a (very last minute idea) for a social club (on the 18th Dec) and got really excited so launched it 10 days later in time for the New Year! 😱

Digital
Rebuilding our websites as the final part of our foundational tech rebuilds. Completing this will allow us to make our websites more useful, simple, accurate and accessible. It will also open up the ability for us to start work on some top requested features like map views, auto-enrolments and mobile apps. 🗺️🃏
Making some serious progress with our internal process automations so we can operate as efficiently as possible and our brilliant humans can focus on more creative and high level tasks. 🧘🏻♀️🧘🏾♀️🧘♀️
Testing out some new digital ideas to enhance your Summer Camp experience and bring the community together more. 📸💬
Events
🎉 Working out how we can build on the magic created by the anniversary opening and closing ceremonies to make that kind of ‘spectacle’ feeling a regular part of Camp. 🎉
💜 Adding more new features and improving more little details of Camp to make them truly outstanding experiences.
🛁 Reimagining how the Sanctuary experience works for families at Camp Kindling.
🌱 As always seems to be the case, we have planted more grass and are closely monitoring its growth 🌱
Community
🏁 Kicking off the social club idea in at least one city and figuring out what works / doesn’t!
Experimenting with a newsletter, podcast or YouTube channel inspired by the success of the talks in the auditorium. 🎙️🎙️🎙️
Trying to write these updates quarterly instead of yearly 😬
As ever, we are always keen to hear your thoughts and ideas on all of this, just drop us a DM or an email!
